Orpheus wasn't entirely sure the ring would work as a way for him to get to Steve's world, but he was going to give it a shot. If it didn't work, he'd explain it to Steve the next time they were both in the bar, and they could figure something else out.

His guitar slung across his back, Orpheus turns the ring on his finger and opens the door, pleased to find himself in Steve's apartment when he steps through.

"Ready?" Orpheus breathes, just on the edge himself. "Just...when I say..." His hand stays on the controls, and he turns the device up all the way as he says, "Now! Come now!" spilling himself over Steve's belly as he does.

Steve shouts, and his hips thrust and thrust as he comes for what feels like a year.

He finally sinks back with an exhausted groan.

Orpheus takes just a moment to gather himself before reaching back to turn the vibrator off and leaning down to kiss Steve, his hands fumbling to undo the cuffs as he does. He'll get to Steve's feet in a moment.

Steve's arms go around Orpheus's neck, and he kisses Orpheus hungrily, clinging to him.

Orpheus groans into the kiss, eagerly returning it. His hands stroke gently down Steve's sides.

Steve breaks off the kiss to bury his face in Orpheus's neck. He whispers, "I feel strange--light-headed--I don't even know."

"That happens sometimes," Orpheus says softly, smiling. "If you really let go.

"Can I untie you?" He doesn't want to pull away if Steve isn't ready.

"Yes. Yes, please." Still, he's slow to release Orpheus.

Orpheus smiles, moving slowly as he slides down Steve's body. He undoes the tape first and then pulls the toy out, being sure to keep a hand on Steve's skin the whole time. "I'm going to get something to clean you up with, lovely. I will be back soon," he says, moving to the bathroom to get a cloth.

Steve can only nod. He's exhausted.

Orpheus comes back quickly with a damp cloth and moves onto the bed, carefully washing Steve, over his stomach and his crotch and between his legs. When he's finished, he sets the cloth aside and settles in next to Steve, curling his arms around him.

Steve tucks himself against Orpheus with a soft sigh.

"Intense," he murmurs after a while.

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus trails his fingers down Steve's back slowly. "Was it what you needed?"

"Yes, sweetheart." He kisses Orpheus's lips lightly. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," Orpheus murmurs, kissing him back.

Steve nuzzles their noses together. "Been a busy day."

"Yeah, it has," Orpheus murmurs in return, smiling.

"Not sure I can stay awake," Steve says apologetically. "You'll stay the night, won't you? And tomorrow?"

[golden_lyre]

"Yeah, of course," Orpheus says, stroking his back. "As long as you like. I'll have to go back for my things eventually, though."

"Stay forever," Steve murmurs.

[golden_lyre]

He laughs softly. "I'll need to go shopping again..."

Steve chuckles and kisses his neck. "I mean that in a 'Come, live with me and be my love' kind of way. You can go shopping and go out to eat and play music and whatever else, and I won't complain."

[golden_lyre]

"I didn't think you wanted to keep me prisoner. I only meant if I don't go back to my world, I'll need clothes and things."

"Oh, good. I was worried for a second, there." He kisses Orpheus's ear. "You looked amazing in your new clothes, by the way."

Orpheus chuckles. "Maybe someday I'll get to wear them out."
