Orpheus juggles the bottles and his key to get the door unlocked so Steve doesn't have to put down the pizzas, and he pulls out the little table to put the drinks on once they're inside.

Orpheus sighs into the kiss, arms curling loosely around Steve.

"I like the lust," Steve whispers. "I like all of it."

"Do you want to hear a song of lust, lovely?" Orpheus murmurs.

Steve smiles slowly. "Do you want to sing one?"

"I'd sing one if you wanted to hear it."

Steve studies him, then shakes his head. "Not tonight. I liked your other song. I want to hold onto it for a little longer."

Orpheus smiles and kisses his forehead. "All right, lovely."

Steve closes his eyes as Orpheus kisses him, smiling.

Orpheus hums against his hair, the same song from before.

Steve tucks his head against Orpheus's neck.

Orpheus, kisses his hair, still humming.

Steve strokes Orpheus's chest slowly and lightly with his fingertips.

"So beautiful," Orpheus murmurs.

"Mm?" Steve murmurs with a smile.

[golden_lyre]

"You're beautiful," he says again, softly.

Steve chuckles and pushes himself up over Orpheus. "I'm glad you think so, and I think you're beautiful too."

He dips his head to kiss Orpheus gently.

Orpheus holds his face gently as they kiss.

Steve settles at his side again, gazing at him. His thumb strokes along Orpheus's cheekbone.

Orpheus lets his hand rest at Steve's hip, smiling.

"I never understood why people gaze into their lover's eyes before," Steve murmurs.

Orpheus smiles. "Why do you do it now?"

"Because you fill me with wonder," Steve says, "and I can't believe how lucky I am to have you."

[golden_lyre]

"Likewise," Orpheus whispers, leaning his forehead against Steve's.

"Oh, sweetheart," Steve murmurs and hugs him close.

Orpheus curls himself against Steve.
