Orpheus wasn't entirely sure the ring would work as a way for him to get to Steve's world, but he was going to give it a shot. If it didn't work, he'd explain it to Steve the next time they were both in the bar, and they could figure something else out.

His guitar slung across his back, Orpheus turns the ring on his finger and opens the door, pleased to find himself in Steve's apartment when he steps through.

Orpheus chuckles softly, pushing just the tip in and pulling it back out again, fucking Steve with shallow thrusts.

Steve's head tosses back and forth, his hips arching. "More," he gasps, "more."

Orpheus pulls it back. "If I give you more, you have a choice," he says. "You can come in three minutes, and I'll give you a little while to recover, or if you don't manage it, you have to hold off until I'm ready. Do you want me to give you more?"

"I, I, I--I'll hold off. I'll hold off until you're ready." His fingers dig into his palms.

"Do you need a minute?" Orpheus asks, stroking a hand over his belly.

"Yes, my prince." He tries to slow his breathing, calm his heartbeat.

Orpheus, caresses him lightly, humming a soothing tune.

Steve slowly relaxes. He turns his head toward Orpheus. "Will you kiss me?"

"Yes, my love," Orpheus says with a smile, sliding up to kiss Steve slowly.

Steve clings to the kiss as best he can.

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus kisses him for a long moment and then pulls back. "Ready?"

"I'm ready." He doesn't even tense up.

Orpheus rubs their noses together briefly before moving back between Steve's legs. "I don't want you to come until I tell you too," he says. "So if you're getting too close, I need you to tell me."

"Yes, my prince."

Orpheus turns the vibrator on and trails it up the inside of Steve's thigh then before teasing it over his entrance.

Steve's skin jumps, and he inhales sharply.

Orpheus hums again, the same, soothing tune from before, and slowly pushes the toy into Steve.

Steve's body trembles; his hands and feet clench; he doesn't bother to hold in the sounds the vibrator wrenches from him.

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus smiles to hear it. "That's it, lovely," he murmurs. "So beautiful." He fucks Steve with it slowly, gradually pushing deeper.

"oh, darlin'," Steve groans, "don't stop, don't stop."

"Wasn't going to, lovely," Orpheus murmurs, gradually picking up speed, turning the vibrations up a little.

Steve rides it until his arms and legs shake--then with great effort he says, "Yellow, yellow, gonna come," and presses his face against his arm.

Orpheus turns down the vibration and slides the toy out. He strokes a soothing hand over Steve's stomach. "That's good. You're doing well, lovely."

Steve smiles a tiny bit and breathes out slowly. "Thank you, my prince."

He smiles and continues to stroke a hand over him, humming that same, soothing tune.
