Orpheus juggles the bottles and his key to get the door unlocked so Steve doesn't have to put down the pizzas, and he pulls out the little table to put the drinks on once they're inside.

"Something funny, huh?"

"I'd be pleased if you did," Orpheus says. He's not going to ask, though. He wants Steve to choose on his own.

"Then I will," Steve says and kisses his mouth.

Orpheus kisses him back slowly, fingers tangling in his hair.

Steve keeps the kiss gentle and slow, his hand light on Orpheus's cheek.

Orpheus hums against his lips, sweet and soulful.

Steve makes a soft whimper in return.

[golden_lyre]

"What do you want, lovely," Orpheus murmurs, catching Steve's lip in his teeth.

[thekidfrombrooklyn]

"To kiss you," Steve whispers.

[golden_lyre]

"Anytime," Orpheus murmurs, kissing him again and again. "Always."

Steve smiles and settles against him, and kisses him again, slow, tender, deep.

Orpheus keeps on humming as they kiss.

"Sing to me?" Steve whispers as he nuzzles Orpheus's neck.

[golden_lyre]

"What do you want to hear about?" Orpheus asks, tilting his head back.

Steve whispers in his ear, "Sing me how I make you feel."

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus shivers and swallows and nods.

When he starts to sing, his voice is a little rough, and the song he sings is soft and soothing, gentle and comfortable, a low thread of desire throughout, and a faint but deep-seated ache. There's worry and doubt as well, but very little, almost unnoticeable.

Steve notices it, but the desire, the comfort, the gentleness, all reassure him. He goes on kissing Orpheus sweetly, around his face, on his chest, even his hands.

Orpheus lets his fingers stroke over Steve's skin as he sings.

Steve lays his head on Orpheus's chest and watches him sing, a tender look in his eyes and a gentle smile on his lips.

When Orpheus wraps up the song, he leans up to kiss Steve slowly.

Steve kisses him back, stroking his cheek.

Orpheus curls his fingers gently into Steve's hair.

"Is that what you were looking for, lovely?"

Steve pauses a moment, then nods.

"It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was perfect."

"What were you expecting?" Orpheus asks.

"I don't know...more lust, I think."

[golden_lyre]

"That's not all you make me feel, lovely."
