Orpheus pauses outside his door and turns to smile at Steve.

"Well? You've got the key."

"Both works too," Steve moans, his hips pushing up fast and hungry. "I like--ah--Orpheus--"

"That's it, lovely," Orpheus murmurs, nipping at his ear, trying to keep up with Steve's pace.

Steve groans, body arching, and comes in Orpheus's hands.

He falls onto his back, gasping for breath.

Orpheus gradually slows his hand and eventually flops next to him, reaching across Steve for a tissue to clean them up.

"I like both," Steve says, and turns his head to give Orpheus a sleepy smile. "Was what I was trying to say."

"Yeah, I figured that was it," Orpheus says, tossing the tissue away and settling in at Steve's side.

"So...what kind of tips are they giving you?" he asks, utterly failing to keep the amusement from his face.

"Um." Why yes, Steve would be blushing right about now. "Tips on how to do oral." He hides his face in Orpheus's chest. "And terms, I've learned a lot of terms."

[golden_lyre]

"You learned how to give a blowjob from a hooker," Orpheus says flatly.

Well, that certainly answers a few questions he's been keeping to himself.

"And a banana."

He looks up at Orpheus. "Are you upset?"

Orpheus laughs. "No, I'm not upset.

"Surprised, but not upset."

Steve mumbles, "I wanted to catch up to you," blushing again.

Orpheus arches an eyebrow at him. "Remember how I said that I had a lot to teach you?"

Steve nods. "I remember."

[golden_lyre]

"Well, you kind of take some of the fun out of that when you go off and learn somewhere else..."

"I can still learn how you like it."

[golden_lyre]

"Yeah, but anyone could do that."

Steve frowns and says quietly, "I thought it would make you happy.:

[golden_lyre]

"I'm not upset," Orpheus says. "And I...get why you did it. It's sweet, really.

"I...kind of thought maybe you'd been practicing on somebody else."

Steve shakes his head, starting to smile. "There were only two or three girls, Orpheus, and all we did was talk."

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus smiles as well. "I wasn't jealous, lovely. I just wondered. You're free to see whoever you like."

Steve picks at the coverlet. He'd be lying if he said there's no one else he'd like to see--but what he told Sallie so long ago is still true.

He doesn't feel this way about anybody else.

"I'm not going to pay for it," is all he says.

[golden_lyre]

"You wouldn't have to, lovely."

Orpheus is so far removed from whatever Steve is feeling here. He's felt out of touch with his partners for a very long time, now, though.

Steve nods, and then curls up against Orpheus again.

"I just want you. You're all I want. I don't care who else you're with, I really don't, but you're the only one I want."

[golden_lyre]

"If you're sure," Orpheus says, sliding an arm around him.

Steve nods. "I've had a lot of time to think about it," he says with a small, wry smile.
