"How did you guess?" Orpheus says, laughing.

"Artists are very observant," Steve says primly.

"Apparently not that observant," Orpheus answers dryly.

Steve laughs and kisses him.

Orpheus kisses him back, arms wrapping around him.

"Tell me one thing," Steve says. "Do you miss me when I'm not around?"

Orpheus' brow furrows, and he looks at Steve seriously for a long moment. "Sometimes," he says softly.

"I'll take that," Steve murmurs with another soft kiss.

Orpheus returns the kiss with a faint smile.

Steve moves onto his side to make it more comfortable for both of them to snuggle and smooch.

Orpheus shifts with him, curling an arm around Steve's waist.

"So what do you wanna do now, music man?" Steve murmurs.

Orpheus smiles, nuzzling Steve's nose with his. "Hm...anything you want."

Steve laughs again. "Honey, you know I can't suggest anything you haven't done a thousand times before."

"Yes, but you've been fantasizing for two months since you saw me last."

"Ah," murmurs Steve and his fingers drift down Orpheus's chest. "You want to know about those.

"There's nothing that extravagant. Just you...me...whatever boardng house or hotel I was in that night..."

"Of course I want to know about those," Orpheus says with a grin.

"And what are we doing in those boarding houses and hotels?"

Steve brings his mouth as close to Orpheus's as he can without kissing him, and whispers, "Dirty, naked things."

Orpheus laughs, fingers trailing up Steve's spine. "Yes, I'd guessed that much."

Oh, he wants details, does he?

"I come back to the hotel from a show," Steve whispers, lips gliding along Orpheus's throat, "and I'm hot and sweaty but still keyed up. And I open the door to find you in my bed, already naked, already hard. And you order me, 'Steve, c'mere. Leave the costume on.'"

Orpheus' eyes slip shut and he gives a soft moan of approval.
