Orpheus juggles the bottles and his key to get the door unlocked so Steve doesn't have to put down the pizzas, and he pulls out the little table to put the drinks on once they're inside.

"Something funny, huh?"

He does watch again when there's dancing, anyway. There's a lot of dancing.

Orpheus doesn't really mind. He's paying more attention to Steve than to the movie.

Meantime, beer is drunk and pizza is eaten, and lips get kissed more than once.

When the movie ends, Orpheus sets his bottle aside and shifts to look at Steve. "What did you think?"

"I liked it!" Steve says. "The dancing was amazing, and the songs were like something from my day. And that 'Be a Clown' number!" He laughs again at the memory.

Orpheus chuckles and kisses him. "I'm glad."

Steve kisses him back, smiling.

"The pizza was good, too," he murmurs. "Good ideas tonight, sweetheart."

"Don't I always have good ideas?" Orpheus asks, smirking.

"Yes," Steve says, still smiling, and kisses him again. "Your ideas are fun," kiss, "and sexy," kiss, "and wonderful."

Long kiss.

Long.

Orpheus smiles into each kiss. "Pizza is sexy?"

"A lot sexier than being hungry."

Orpheus laughs at that. "All right. You've got me on that."

Steve pulls him down a little so it's easier to smooch. "Did you want to watch the other movie?" he whispers.

"I'm good if you are," Orpheus murmurs, sliding his fingers through Steve's hair slowly.

"I am," Steve murmurs and nuzzles his face. "Dinner and a show. It's a great date."

[golden_lyre]

"Yeah, it was, huh?" He kisses Steve slowly. "Even if we did just stay in."

"Even though that's all we did," Steve affirms. "All I want is your company, honey."

[golden_lyre]

"Yeah, me too," Orpheus says, tracing his fingertips over Steve's cheek.

Steve kisses Orpheus's palm, gazing into his eyes.

Orpheus leans in to press his lips against Steve's throat.

Steve inhales sharply, his head tilting back.

Orpheus smiles and nips lightly at his skin.

Steve whimpers and his hips arch forward.

"Wow," Orpheus teases gently. "Gene Kelly really does it for you, huh?"

"Singing, dancing, true love winning in the end," Steve whispers. "I'm helpless."
