[Milliways]: Breaking the dry spell

Orpheus is trying very hard not to just drag Steve up the stairs to their room. Despite having been waiting in the bar, he hasn't been spending much time here at all. It made him think far too much of Steve, and the drawings Steve had left for him didn't really help on that score.

He manages to restrain himself, though, as he unlocks the door.

Orpheus hums around his nipple, his free hand stroking downward, over Steve's belly

Steve stomach shivers.

Orpheus slides his mouth across to the other nipple, tugging it between his teeth.

Steve moans again, trembling, and his hands slide up Orpheus's back.

Orpheus places a kiss in the center of his chest. "Hang on," he murmurs. "I want to get something."

"Okay," Steve breathes.

He carefully slides off the bed and moves to the small refrigerator, finding the ice tray and popping out a few cubes. When he gets back to the bed, he sits next to Steve and traces one of the cubes down the center of Steve's chest.

"Oh!" Steve exclaims, curling away for a moment, and then he laughs.

Orpheus laughs as well, sliding the cube over to circle a nipple.

"Cold," Steve observes as his skin goosepimples. He rubs his legs together.

[golden_lyre]

"Yes," Orpheus agrees with a soft chuckle. "I imagine it would be." He leans down and licks up the trails of water sliding across Steve's chin as the ice melts.

Steve moans luxuriously, stretching under him.

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus lets the ice slide down to settle in Steve's navel.

Steve's stomach flexes away from the cold.

[ooc: I think I need to stop for a bit--I'm kind of "How do you word?" right now.]

Orpheus bends low to suck the water out.

Steve moans an even lower, "Ohhh..."

Orpheus smiles against his skin and nips at his belly.

Steve rakes his hands through Orpheus's hair.

Orpheus slides his tongue along the curve of Steve's hip.

"Slow tease," Steve whispers as his hips arch. "That's what you wanted, huh?"

[golden_lyre]

"I wanted to make sure you remember how this goes," Orpheus murmurs, nipping at his hip bone.

"I could always use a refresher."

[golden_lyre]

"Exactly. Consider this a nice, slow reminder."

He pushes Steve's legs up slowly, nibbling along his thigh.

Steve purrs, his toes curling. "Nice and slow, then..."

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus slides his fingers up Steve's sides then scrapes his nails down Steve's ribs, his lips moving down Steve's thigh.
