[Milliways]: Breaking the dry spell

Orpheus is trying very hard not to just drag Steve up the stairs to their room. Despite having been waiting in the bar, he hasn't been spending much time here at all. It made him think far too much of Steve, and the drawings Steve had left for him didn't really help on that score.

He manages to restrain himself, though, as he unlocks the door.

Steve beams and hugs Orpheus.

(He likes hugging, too. Not as much as kissing, but there are very few things he likes as much as kissing.)

Orpheus smiles and curls into Steve's arms.

"Kiss me again, my love."

Steve cradles Orpheus's face and kisses him, slow and deep.

Orpheus slides both arms around him, hands trailing over Steve's back.

"What do you want to do, honey?" Steve growls.

Orpheus slides his fingers down the back of Steve's neck. "Whatever you want, lovely."

He doesn't want to push. Not after seventy years.

Steve kisses him deeper. "First, I want to take off all your clothes."

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus smiles. "We can definitely do that."

[thekidfrombrooklyn]

"...and take off all of mine..."

[golden_lyre]

"We can do that as well," Orpheus says, his hands moving to unbutton Steve's shirt.

"...and then do what comes naturally."

[golden_lyre]

"All very manageable," Orpheus murmurs, leaning in to kiss the corner of Steve's mouth as he slowly opens his shirt.

Steve watches his hands, then murmurs, "What's Pilates?"

Orpheus laughs.

"What made you think of that?"

[thekidfrombrooklyn]

"I wondered if my body was different, and that made me remember something Tony said about Pilates. He said it's like calisthenics, but knowing Tony he may just be yanking my chain."

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus smirks.

"It's a bit like calisthenics, yeah."

He pushes Steve's shirt from his shoulders, curious now if he will notice any differences.

Probably not enough to matter.

"Clothing sizes are different," Steve says softly, still watching Orpheus's hands. "I had to get measured just for a pair of dungarees--which is what everybody wears all the time now, apparently--and I thought the salesgirl was going to faint."

"Well, you are quite something to look at. I almost fainted the first time I saw you naked as well," Orpheus teases.

"She didn't see me naked," Steve clarifies. "She just measured everything.

"I've never made you faint." He kisses Orpheus's neck.

[golden_lyre]

"Still," Orpheus murmurs, fingers tracing along Steve's chest slowly. "Quite impressive."

"Thank you, sweetheart," Steve says modestly and takes Orpheus's hand to squeeze it gently as they kiss.

Orpheus smiles and squeezes his hand as well, before sitting up to pull off his shirt.

Steve runs his hands over Orpheus's chest and sides, hunger in his eyes.

Orpheus leans back to give him more room, pleased at his reaction.

"I'm just big," Steve murmurs. "You're...perfect." He leans in to kiss Orpheus's chest.
