Orpheus wasn't entirely sure the ring would work as a way for him to get to Steve's world, but he was going to give it a shot. If it didn't work, he'd explain it to Steve the next time they were both in the bar, and they could figure something else out.

His guitar slung across his back, Orpheus turns the ring on his finger and opens the door, pleased to find himself in Steve's apartment when he steps through.

"Perfect," Steve murmurs.

He strokes the side of Orpheus's face. "We should probably get cleaned up."

He laughs softly. "Yes, probably. I'm worried about the state of your couch as well."

"I have some upholstery cleaner around here somewhere..."

A little kissing happens before he moves to get up.

Orpheus is completely okay with that. When he does get up, he stretches slowly.

Sitting on the couch, Steve watches him stretch, and then grabs him by the waist and presses a kiss to the small of his back.

"Mm, delicious."

Orpheus laughs softly, smiling over his shoulder at Steve. "Glad you think so, lovely."

"I've always thought so." He gives Orpheus's ass a light slap and gets up from the couch.

Orpheus laughs louder and heads to the bathroom. "Even better."

Steve embraces him from behind and kisses his neck, and then lets him go.

Orpheus turns to him with a smile, hands on Steve's hips, pulling him toward the bathroom.

Steve guides him so he doesn't bump into anything.

Orpheus stops in the doorway to kiss him.

Steve kisses him back, arms sliding around his neck.

Orpheus kisses him slowly, arms looping around his waist.

"Love you, Orpheus," Steve whispers as they kiss.

"Love you," Orpheus echoes, running a hand up Steve's spine.

Steve leads them to the sink and starts the water running. "I especially love you like this," he says in a low voice.

"Like what?" Orpheus asks, head tilted, smiling. "Naked?"

"Yes," says Steve as he gets a washcloth. "Naked, sweaty, covered in come..." He kisses Orpheus's shoulder before starting to wash his stomach.

Orpheus laughs. "I never would have thought it of you when we first met."

"I had no idea how sexy I'd find it when we first met," Steve replies.

[golden_lyre]

"I'd be willing to bet you hadn't even given it a thought when we first met."

[thekidfrombrooklyn]

"I hadn't." He brushes water droplets from Orpheus's skin. "I hardly thought about sex at all, let alone what I found sexy."

He smiles, shaking his head, and takes the cloth from Steve. "I find that so hard to imagine."

Steve leans back against the sink. "It just wasn't important to me. I had school and work to keep me occupied."
