Orpheus wasn't entirely sure the ring would work as a way for him to get to Steve's world, but he was going to give it a shot. If it didn't work, he'd explain it to Steve the next time they were both in the bar, and they could figure something else out.

His guitar slung across his back, Orpheus turns the ring on his finger and opens the door, pleased to find himself in Steve's apartment when he steps through.

Steve wraps a leg around his hip, still rubbing against him.

After a moment, Orpheus starts to move with him, groaning as he does.

Steve starts to gasp in his ear.

"That's it, lovely," Orpheus murmurs. "Come for me. Come on my stomach."

Steve groans, arching up to him as he starts to come.

Orpheus keeps moving, gradually slowing as Steve comes.

"Oh, Orpheus, Orpheus," Steve whispers, and then he breathlessly laughs. "That was exactly what I wanted."

Orpheus rests on top of him, head tucked under Steve's chin. "I'm glad, lovely."

Steve kisses his hair and strokes his shoulders.

"Just think, we could have this every day," he whispers after a while. "No more days and weeks apart. No more going to Milliways just in the hope you're there too."

Orpheus smiles. "We could. We will."

Steve presses his mouth to Orpheus's hair.

"What about your boat?"

[golden_lyre]

"It will still be there if we ever want to take a vacation."

"Perfect," Steve murmurs.

He strokes the side of Orpheus's face. "We should probably get cleaned up."

[golden_lyre]

He laughs softly. "Yes, probably. I'm worried about the state of your couch as well."

"I have some upholstery cleaner around here somewhere..."

A little kissing happens before he moves to get up.

Orpheus is completely okay with that. When he does get up, he stretches slowly.

Sitting on the couch, Steve watches him stretch, and then grabs him by the waist and presses a kiss to the small of his back.

"Mm, delicious."

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus laughs softly, smiling over his shoulder at Steve. "Glad you think so, lovely."

"I've always thought so." He gives Orpheus's ass a light slap and gets up from the couch.

[golden_lyre]

Orpheus laughs louder and heads to the bathroom. "Even better."

Steve embraces him from behind and kisses his neck, and then lets him go.

Orpheus turns to him with a smile, hands on Steve's hips, pulling him toward the bathroom.

Steve guides him so he doesn't bump into anything.

Orpheus stops in the doorway to kiss him.

Steve kisses him back, arms sliding around his neck.
