Orpheus wasn't entirely sure the ring would work as a way for him to get to Steve's world, but he was going to give it a shot. If it didn't work, he'd explain it to Steve the next time they were both in the bar, and they could figure something else out.

His guitar slung across his back, Orpheus turns the ring on his finger and opens the door, pleased to find himself in Steve's apartment when he steps through.

Steve kisses him, with a soft, "Thank you, honey."

"Of course," Orpheus murmurs, kissing him again.

"I know it's not as glamorous as Paris..."

Orpheus's face gets kissed, too.

Orpheus chuckles. "New York has a glamorous side," he says, closing his eyes as Steve kisses him.

"Do you want glamor, honey?" Steve whispers and kisses down his neck. "I'm told I clean up well."

"We could get glamorous sometimes," Orpheus says, tilting his head to the side. "And you do clean up...very well."

Steve whispers, "I'll even wear a tux for you," and licks his ear.

Orpheus shivers. "Can I peel it off you later when we're alone? Piece by piece?"

"Oh yes, please do," Steve whispers.

[golden_lyre]

"Slowly," Orpheus murmurs. "Bit by bit baring your skin to my touch."

Steve smiles and whispers, "I could put on my dress uniform and you could do that right now."

Orpheus smiles. "Another time. It's better if I'm thinking about it all night first."

Steve smiles naughtily. "The anticipation. I get it."

He dips his head and whispers in Orpheus's ear, "Take off my clothes."

Grinning, Orpheus reaches for Steve's shirt, pulling it up. "Anytime you want, lovely."

Steve grins too as he raises his arms over his head.

Orpheus gets the shirt off and tosses it away, kissing him slowly as his hands slide down Steve's stomach.

Steve shivers under his touch, and breathes, "Oh, darlin'..."

"Never get tired of touching you," Orpheus murmurs, slowly working Steve's trousers open.

Steve smiles and kisses Orpheus's hair. "I hope that's always true."

"So do I," Orpheus breathes, kissing Steve's neck as he pushes his pants down.

Steve tilts back his head with a soft moan.

"I love you," Orpheus whispers, lips trailing along his shoulder and down his chest.

Steve smiles even more deeply and sweetly, and holds Orpheus's face so he can kiss his mouth. "I love you," he answers softly.

Orpheus kisses him slow and deep, leaning up to press against Steve.
